Explore the world of GTA V with this excellent unofficial companion map

Grand Theft Auto V is a huge game, and you can get help exploring San Andreas with this great Interactive Map for GTA 5 - Unofficial. Whether you're a completist looking to do 100% of the game, or someone just looking for interesting things to check out, it's a fantastic companion to the game.

Track your progress

Unofficial Map For GTA 5 gives you 50 categories of places, events, objects, and more to choose from, plus it shows you where they are on the map. All the collectible items in the game are included, so you can find them easily, and you can also mark them off as completed, making it much more useful than the official companion app.

You need to register, for free, to use the app. This has the advantage of letting you keep track of your progress with the app, and also lets you add your own notes to the map. All your data is saved in the cloud, so you can access it when you login on any device, or via the web app. As well as the classic map view, there's a road-only map, Satellite view, and even a UV view. The latter is a version of the map only available in special editions of GTA V, which revealed secrets when shone under UV light. With Interactive Map for GTA 5 - Unofficial, you can now see these without the aid of a UV torch.

Everything you need

The map has two menus, one on each side. You activate them by tapping a small tab. On the left you have all the possible categories. Tapping them makes their locations appear on the map. You can turn on as many categories as you like. Being able to see them one at a time really helps you use it efficiently. The right hand menu has all the collectibles. Tap on a collectible's location, and you can mark it as complete. This is really useful, as some categories have 50 parts, which is pretty tricky to keep track of manually!

Interactive Map for GTA 5 - Unofficial is ad-supported, which you can remove by 'Upgrading to Pro' for $0.99. However, the ads are really unobtrusive by most standards.

An excellent companion

There are plenty of online maps available online for GTA V, but Interactive Map for GTA 5 - Unofficial is particularly user friendly and useful. Being able to add notes and track your progress in the app is really great. It also allows you to get around without pausing the game and entering the in-game map, which is also cool. Interactive Map for GTA 5 - Unofficial is a great companion app for GTA V players.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?
